What is an in-house lab?

How does the in-house lab work?

You head to the lab and provide a sample of blood, urine, or saliva, and the technical team analyzes them to look for specific substances and their levels.

Your provider may compare your current lab tests to your prior lab tests, allowing them to monitor changes in your condition or disease over time. They also use the information to diagnose an acute illness or reason for symptoms. Usually, they call you with the results as soon as they’re available and, if needed, recommend further action.
